1. India's first Joint Disaster Management Exercise named Prakampana (Cyclone) aimed at synchronising resources and efforts of all agencies involved in disaster management held at Visakhapatnam (Andhra Pradesh).

•      Prakampana is second Joint Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief (HADR) exercise as planned by Government. First

•      Joint Exercise was ‘JALRAHAT’ that was conducted by Army at Narangi Cantt (Assam) in June 2016. Third HADR exercise will be 'SAHAYATA’ that will be conducted by Indian Air Force in September 2016 in Gujrat.

2. Russian Naval Rescue Ship Igor Belousov Visted Visakhapatnam (India).
